We have a few guidelines on what makes an episode of Future Ecologies:
An ecological framing
Each episode should explore a core ecological concept in some detail
A narrative arc
We prefer to use human experiences to embody ideas
A philosophical underpinning
Each episode should offer an actionable takeaway, and preferably challenge some social construct or popular presumption
An immersive sonic environment
We’re maximalists for soundscape and music, so long as the story remains the focal point
ATTENTION GUESTS SEEKING PODCASTS: We take months to put together episodes with narrative arcs and multiple interviews. If you’re doing something cool, we’d love to hear about it, but we’re not likely to be a good part of your press tour.
